Better Homes and Gardens January issue

Any other Better Homes & Gardens subscribers out there? I'm one -- embarrassingly (and truthfully), have been since the seventh grade. I like to think I've seen them through the good and the bad, and right now they're having a very good streak. The January cover? Perfection.

I also loved the peak at Amy Meier's home, and fell in love with her curtains, rug, and couch. The styling is right on in her entryway, too.

  1. This issue of Better Homes and Gardens kept me company throughout all my family's travels over Christmas. I agree that my favorite part was Amy's entryway. I love a good mudroom or entryway, but it's great to see what options you have when either doesn't exist.

  2. Yes! I LOVED this issue! After reading it I felt like every other page was folded down with an idea of some sort...

  4. I'm so glad I'm not the only one that's had a subscription to BHG since before high school! I was always teased about it, but now all those same girls are signing up... and I have years of BHG wisdom stored up!

Totally agree that they're having a good streak. I loved the cover of this months issue... Now if only I could convince my boyfriend to let me turn our desk area into that ;)

  6. I'm obsessed with BHG and I too loved Amy Meier's home. But didn't you notice how much thinner the issue was? I am sad about that.

  7. I definitely noticed how much thinner this issue was! I usually spend at least an hour reading, but this month's mag was so short!

  8. Hi ladies! I definitely did notice how thin the issue was, but it's just kind of a standard in the industry, especially after the fatter-than-normal holiday issues. If you notice, Real Simple, Martha Living, etc. are all thinner than usual in January, too. BHG should be back up to its normal thickness next month!

  9. I bought this issue a few weeks ago! I love it! That pink office chair and cute filing boxes had me sold :)
