It snowed this weekend! In North Carolina! In December! Granted, nothing stuck, but it was still exciting for this New England girl. On top of that, I had a weekend filled with Christmas shopping, Christmas carols, gift wrapping, Christmas movies, and hot chocolate (and a trip to the flea market!): there was no other option but to break out the winter inspiration boards today! I hope you love this one -- I love that it incorporates rustic materials, like pinecones, but that it's still elegant and formal. The icy blue and gold palette helps with that.

My little brother is getting married in Feb. and they are doing blues (with silver instead of gold) but they are using that same cake as their inspiration :)
