Short Dress Brides

Inspired by the lovely Mrs. Onion from Weddingbee and her recent short dress post, I thought I'd share some of my favorite short wedding dress inspiration with you. If I have it, I've included the dress information below.

First up, Mrs. Onion herself. I loved everything about her wedding, but especially the kiss portrait on the left. How cute is she?

As you will soon see, I am a sucker for the sweetheart neckline...

...as well as the fascinator/flower combination.

Check out the rainbow crinoline on this next number:

My favorite thing about short dresses? They let you highlight sassy shoes, like the orange heels in the two photos below.

I'm curious - would you ever consider wearing a short wedding dress? If you wore a short dress for your wedding, send it my way - I'd love to see!

  1. These are so fun! I think they would be great for the right season and wedding style, but I've always pictured myself in a long gown. I like seeing other people's pictures of these daring dresses, but I think I would go with something a bit more traditional.

  2. although these dresses are cute, I have to agree with Jackie... I have always pictured myself in a long gown. Maybe I'm too much of a romantic but I could never give that vision up, no matter how cute my shoes were. :)

  3. I'll be wearing a short dress for my wedding. These are all so cute. Thanks for sharing.
