Cookie reception

We're having a short cookies and lemonade reception directly following K + C's ceremony. I like to joke that it's to fortify guests for the 15-minute walk to the real reception site they're about to undertake (yep -- we're doing (part of) dessert before lunch!). I'm not putting a whole lot of time or money into styling it, because we'll only be there a short time. I did, however, make cookie labels. The image above was my inspiration, though mine turned out pretty different.

The best part? All of the cookies are being made by my Mom's best friend... and she is the most amazing baker I know, hands down.
