Rubie Green

Speaking of things I want {we were, weren't we?}, this delightful Rubie Green bedding tops the list right now. I think I would combine the Tillinghast duvet cover with Classic Standard shams and a Classic Standard bed skirt, just like their stylish style director.

Now to figure out how they put together that amazing headboard...

  1. I'm so excited that you posted this because all I've been thinking about this week is setting up my new bedroom! My mom has an old wooden bed frame that I am planning on painting a bright color (which is yet to be determined) and now I just have to find the perfect duvet cover! I've decided that painting old furniture is going to be my July project and I will share the results as they come...

  2. Oh, P.S. - Do you have any tips to share from your experience refurbishing that adorable chair you found in Cape Cod (as I rememeber?)

  4. Jackie - that sounds so awesome! I only wish that I could be in CT a little longer to participate in the painting party. You will most DEFINITELY have to send us a before & after, so make sure you take a photo before you start! As for tips, I only have one - if there's old paint on it that you're planning to remove, sand, sand, and sand some more. It takes a REALLY long time, but it is definitely worth it in the end - the end result is so much more smooth and lovely. Good luck!
